Boa Horse Boot™
A new "dial-shield" - the protective cap which covers the Boa dial mechanism now screws on, like a threaded bottle cap. There is now a pull-tab at the heel of the boot, similar to those found on athletic tennis shoes. Three small drain holes have been added to the sole of the boot. The optional Boa Gaiters now come in three sizes (the two larger sizes are 7 mm neoprene), and a "hoof-plate" has been added to better secure the Gaiter in the boot. The Boa Horse Boot provides excellent hoof protection for both occasional and long distance riding, and has been designed to protect and remain on the hoof during most riding conditions. Boa Horse Boots can also be used in the correction and treatment of hoof ailments and impact caused injuries. Unlike other hoof boots the Boa Lacing System allows the Boa Horse Boot to be fitted and removed without strength or force. The Boa Lacing System is used on the Boa Horse Boot as the primary closure system. The Boa Lacing System allows the Boa Horse Boot to open large enough to accommodate the wide base of a hoof, allowing for quick application without strength or force. After the hoof is placed in the Boa Horse Boot, the Boa Lacing System quickly tightens with a turn of the dial. The gear train in the reel develops significant leverage so a great deal of tensioning force is created with very little effort. Removing the Boa Horse Boot is simple: pull the dial, and the lace tension releases.

Boa Gaiter

Now Improved! Our new patent pending Boa Gaiter now comes with a hoof plate! This new plate will help keep the Gaiter in place! The Boa Gaiter is recommended for sandy or muddy conditions. It helps keep excessive sand and dirt out of the Boa Horse Boot. It can also be used on horses with thin skin who have a tendency to chafe.

How to Use:

1. Before Applying the boot, insert the Boa Gaiter into the boot with the hoof plate facing towards the front of the boot.

2. Insert the Gaiter so that the hoof plate is flat against the bottom of the boot

3. Fold the Gaiter sleeve around the back of the boot.

4. Apply the Boa Horse Boot to the hoof while holding the Gaiter flap folded over the back of the boot.
With the Boa Gaiter the horse will be standing on top of the hoof plate.

5. After the boot is on securely, but before fastening and tightening the Boa Dial, fasten the Gaiter hook and loop strap snugly around the pastern. Make sure that all parts of the gaiter are snug against the horse's leg. There should be no gaps or loose areas.

Boa Wedge Pads
Made from pure polyurethane material these pad inserts are 1/8" thick for the flat and a 6 degree angle for the toe or heel wedges. Perfect for lifting the hoof to help with boot fit or for angled corrections. Consult a farrier or veterinarian before making any angled corrections. Will fit in Easyboots, Boa Horse Boots or EasySoakers. Size: Order same as boot size.

Boa Horse Boot Replacement Lace
